On Tuesday, May 31, 2011, CIBPA Windsor had their 50th Anniversary Civic Night with special keynote speaker, Dr. Sergio Marchionne. There was a gourmet dinner, a meet and greet, a raffle for a Fiat 500, and a presentation by the CEO of Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group LLC.
This event raised over $200,000 to support the University of Windsor Italian Studies Legacy Fund, the CIBPA Windsor Scholarship Fund and the CIBPA Dr. Marchionne Scholarship Fund.
Dr. Sergio Marchionne was honoured with a CIBPA Life Membership Award.
