MEMBERSHIP

WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

 

Stay connected with the Italian language, heritage, and culture. Includes 10 Dinner Meetings with guest speaker, son/daughter can apply for a scholarship award, subscription to our monthly newsletter, participate in economic, political, community, social, and sporting events. Networking benefits with Canadian Italian Business and Professional persons and advertise in our newsletter and website.

If you are of Italian descent and would like to strengthen your connection with your Italian heritage, or would like to meet more professional Italians in Windsor / Essex County, then this association has a place for you!  To become a member, call, send an email, or download and complete the Membership Application Form.  Member dinner meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning in September and ending in June (10 meetings in total).  No dinner meetings are held in either July or August.  Membership dues are paid every October.  Annual membership dues are pro-rated for new members only.  Renewal memberships are due in full.

 

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE OPTIONS

 

Option 1:  Official Member (All-In)                           $600 (plus HST)

 

Criteria:              This member must meet the criteria of section 4.03(1) of the Constitution.  The option is to pay an “All-In” fee of $600 (plus HST) and all dinner meetings are included. The member can vote and run for the Board.

Option 2:  Official Member (Pay-As-You-Go)             $150 (plus HST)

 

Criteria:              This member must meet the criteria of section 4.03(1) of the Constitution.  The option is to pay a lower membership fee of $150 (plus HST) and then just pay for the dinner meetings that they attend.  The meal fee will be determined per meal. The member can vote and run for the Board.

 

Option 3:  Lifetime Member (All-In)                         $450 (plus HST)

 

Criteria:               This member must meet the criteria of section 4.03(1)(f) of the Constitution in order to qualify for the discounted assessment.  The option is to pay an “All-In” fee of $450 (plus HST) and all dinner meetings are included.  The member can vote and run for the Board.

 

Option 4: Junior Member (All-In)                             $250 (plus HST)

 

Criteria:               This member must meet the criteria of section 4.03(3) of the Constitution in order to qualify for the Junior assessment and be under the age of 30 at the beginning of the fiscal year.  The option is to pay an “All-In” fee of $250 (plus HST) and that will allow the Junior member to attend up to 4 dinner meetings. The member can NOT vote and can NOT run for the Board.

 

Option 5: Corporate Sponsor (All-In)                        $700 (plus HST)

 

Criteria:                A Corporate Sponsor must meet the criteria of Article 8 of the Constitution.  The option is to pay an “All-In” fee of $700 (plus HST) and that will allow a representative of the Corporate Sponsor to attend all dinner meetings.  The Entity (Company, Association, Institution or Organization) would be noted as the Sponsor (example, ABC Bank) and the Entity can send a representative to each meeting (Example, John Doe Account Manager).  It allows for full flexibility within larger entities as the representative can change each time.  The Corporate Sponsor can NOT vote and can NOT run for the Board.
